We seek a committed membership that will help SEMFA be a platform for students, amateurs, professionals, teachers and lovers of the flute. From the Detroit Symphony Flute Section, the major University and College Professors, to the vast number of regional orchestral flutists and the talented students of all ages, we have a luxurious array of concerts, recitals and masterclasses that many flute fans will attend and SEMFA makes it easier to keep members informed and in touch.
Get Involved
The following are just a few areas that will need volunteers:
BUSINESS: Assist with the areas of accounting, legal procedures and Internet technology.
ADVERTISING: Write or compile Newsletter Articles, Solicit ads and sponsors for events.
COORDINATORS NEEDED: Arrange Flute Choir Functions, Pedagogy Round Table Discussions, All State Workshop, Recitals, Competitions, and Masterclasses
BOARD MEMBERS: Serve on the Board of Directors or as an Officer
