Hot Jammin’ Java, -an evening of hot coffee and sizzling music.
The Family Center will be transformed into a cozy, candlelit coffeehouse, offering a variety of beverages and homemade desserts. January’s premiere event will feature 2 outstanding musical acts:
- The smooth sound of Claude Bolling’s “Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano” performed by a flute, piano, bass, and percussion trio. Featuring: Kasey Martin, Flute, Nancy Shelton, piano, Andrew Taylor, String Bass; and Jim Kremer, percussion.
- Joel Palmer, a Detroit area singer/songwriter and guitarist, whose easy style entertains crowds with a variety of swing, blues, and folk music.
Admission tickets ($5) available for purchase Sunday mornings in January or at the door the evening of the performance. Hot Jammin’ Java Coffeehouse will serve $2 bottomless cups of coffee. Other drinks and desserts will also be available for purchase
